Quality Assurance Engineer

Kraków / Małopolskie

Obowiązki

• Under direct supervision, debugs complex software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products
• Develops and executes software test plans
• # Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures
• Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
• Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action
• Assists with the designing, coding and execution of automated test scripts
• Documents and tracks product testing problems
• Attends status meetings, provides oral and written reports

Oczekujemy

• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent
• 3 years experience in Quality Assurance testing, writing and executing test plans
• Base knowledge in Unix/Linux
• Good Knowledge and experience in Java
• Experience testing with Agile/Iterative Development
• # Experience with bug tracking tools such as Merant Tracker and Bugzilla
• Experience with test tools including SOA, JMeter, XML/OTA tools
• Experience in SQL
• Experience with Mercury Quality Center
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to handle multiple tasks/subprojects simultaneously, organizational skills
• Takes initiative in handling issues that arise during testing
• Knowledge of common systems, networks, platforms, tools/languages and integration points for assigned products or customers
